Michal Natora

Michal Natora is a senior investment director as well as the future & frontier technology lead, and is based in Emerald's Zurich office. He is involved in all phases of the investment process from sourcing deals, conducting due diligence, and taking board seats. Moreover, Michal is future proofing Emerald by introducing frontier technologies into the organization.

Prior to joining Emerald in 2014, Michal worked as a consultant for the global automotive company Daimler. He was responsible for establishing processes and tools which ensure the quality of software and data generation processes for electronic control units. Prior to that, Michal was a scientist at the neural information processing group of the TU Berlin where he developed new methods in signal processing, stochastic optimization, and machine learning.

Michal holds an MBE from the Steinbeis Center of Management and Technology. He received his PhD from the TU Berlin and completed his Diploma in Physics at the ETH Zurich and Ecole Polytechnique in Palaiseau.
